M-45 Highway Crossing
Construction of subway crossing under the railway line
The project of the subway crossing on the M-45 highway consisted of the construction of a tunnel for the installation of a sewerage collector. The work was carried out with a Hidroshield TBM shield DN2500designed to traverse clay and gypsum soils with maximum precision. This project made it possible to improve the area's sanitation infrastructure without affecting the highway's operation, guaranteeing the stability of the terrain through continuous monitoring of settlements. Thanks to the technology used, safe and efficient excavation was achieved, minimizing the impact on the surface.
General project details
Location: M-45 Highway, Spain
