Main solutions

• Capture microtunnels (pipe jacking / closed TBM):
  ideal for diameters from 400 mm to 3 m and lengths up to 2 km. Pressure-controlled excavation that maintains the slope to the millimeter and generates very little turbidity.
• Direct Pipe:
  recommended option when large diameters (> 1 m) are required or it is desired to install the pipe at the same time as the excavation, reducing the total duration of the work and eliminating the reaction shaft.
• Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD):
  optimal solution for curved routes of more than 1.5 km or terrain with low overburden. It allows crossing the coastline without trenching the beach and avoiding ecologically sensitive areas.
• Vertical wells and pumping chambers:
  are used when pumps must be located below sea level. They facilitate maintenance without diving operations and are directly linked to the microtunnel or Direct Pipe®.
• Intake heads with passive louvers:
  protect marine fauna by limiting inflow velocity to < 0.15 m/s and reduce sediment entrainment.
• Turnkey packages "Intake + Outfall":
  when the project includes the brine drive line and the brine outfall, Eurohinca executes twin intake and discharge tunnels, simplifying coordination and shortening lead times.
