Su dise\u00f1o y operaci\u00f3n vienen definidos por los siguientes par\u00e1metros t\u00e9cnicos:<\/p><p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1160\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"903\">Aplicaciones principales:<\/strong> Microt\u00faneles en roca competente, gravas cementadas o suelos muy estables; cruces urbanos o interurbanos donde no es necesaria la presurizaci\u00f3n del frente; y operaciones en las que la visibilidad directa o el acceso frontal del personal resultan ventajosos.<\/p><p data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1418\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1203\">Condiciones de terreno compatibles:<\/strong> Roca de buena calidad, terrenos cohesivos firmes o materiales con baja tendencia a desmoronamiento. No se utiliza en suelos sueltos, saturados o con niveles fre\u00e1ticos elevados, donde se requieren EPB o hidroescudo.<\/p><p data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1643\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1459\">Di\u00e1metros y longitudes de avance:<\/strong> Adecuado para di\u00e1metros de microt\u00fanel o t\u00faneles de peque\u00f1a secci\u00f3n, con longitudes que dependen del sistema de empuje, la resistencia del terreno y la configuraci\u00f3n del sostenimiento.<\/p><p data-start=\"1645\" data-end=\"1946\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"1647\" data-end=\"1671\">M\u00e9thode constructive :<\/strong> Excavaci\u00f3n frontal en c\u00e1mara abierta, con opci\u00f3n de usar herramientas de corte mec\u00e1nico, martillos hidr\u00e1ulicos o \u00fatiles espec\u00edficos para roca. El avance se acompa\u00f1a del empuje hidr\u00e1ulico desde el pozo de ataque y del guiado mediante instrumentos topogr\u00e1ficos o girosc\u00f3picos.<\/p><p data-start=\"1948\" data-end=\"2159\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"1985\">Retirada del material excavado:<\/strong> Extracci\u00f3n mediante tornillo sinf\u00edn, cangilones o sistemas mec\u00e1nicos seg\u00fan la naturaleza del terreno. En roca, se pueden emplear cucharas o equipos de manipulaci\u00f3n interior.<\/p><p data-start=\"2161\" data-end=\"2392\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"2163\" data-end=\"2206\">Sostenimiento temporal y revestimiento:<\/strong> Dependiendo del proyecto, el t\u00fanel puede quedar revestido mediante tuber\u00eda empujada (hinca tradicional) o sistemas de entibaci\u00f3n y soporte seg\u00fan las necesidades estructurales del cruce.<\/p><p data-start=\"2394\" data-end=\"2618\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"2396\" data-end=\"2433\">Requisitos previos de obra civil:<\/strong> Construcci\u00f3n de pozos de ataque y recepci\u00f3n con dimensiones adecuadas para alojar el escudo, los sistemas de empuje, herramientas de corte, extracci\u00f3n de material y equipos auxiliares.<\/p><p data-start=\"2620\" data-end=\"2871\">\u2022 <strong data-start=\"2622\" data-end=\"2657\">Control de calidad y seguridad:<\/strong> Supervisi\u00f3n de la estabilidad del frente, registro de empuje y par, control de alineaci\u00f3n, ventilaci\u00f3n adecuada, protocolos de acceso seguro a la c\u00e1mara y verificaci\u00f3n final del trazado y estado del
