It is also preferable in crossings under roads, rivers, railway lines, industrial plants or port areas, where it is not feasible to open trenches or have intermediate accesses. Its capacity to <strong data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1420\">control the front by means of balanced pressure<\/strong>, The ability to use a geotechnical risk assessment system, as well as to correct the trajectory in real time, makes it a superior option when the geotechnical risk is high.<\/p><p data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"2028\">On the other hand, a <strong data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1595\">segment tunnel with TBM<\/strong> is justified in projects of <strong data-start=\"1625\" data-end=\"1699\">large diameter, long lengths or the need for a visitable section<\/strong>, where a continuous structural lining of reinforced concrete segments is required.
